A useful fit for

A candidate for someone who specifically wants the manufacturer-listed full-grain aniline leather exterior and whose use aligns with the separate 12–14 oz bag/pad or 16 oz bag/pad/sparring recommendation.

The main tradeoff

The page lists only 12, 14, and 16 oz. It does not document the standard T360’s 10 or 18 oz options or its partner-drill recommendation; no feature absent from the leather page is inferred.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

What is the T360 Leather page’s listed 14 oz use?

The exact page places 12–14 oz in its bags-and-pads recommendation; it names 16 oz—not 14 oz—for bags, pads, and sparring.

Research-based model assessment · checked 29 October 2026

The T360 Leather Boxing Gloves pair Hayabusa's removable-strap T360 layout with a different exterior: the US product page specifies full-grain aniline leather. That is a real model distinction, not just a color choice. It matters to buyers who deliberately want that named material, but the page does not establish a measured lifespan, break-in period or performance advantage over the standard Vylar T360. This assessment is based on published specifications, not a hands-on trial.

Configuration and construction

The official US selector lists Midnight Black, Sea Smoke, French Roast and Cabernet, with 12, 14 and 16 oz options. The page describes Dual-X interlocking hook-and-loop straps, a removable inner strap, triple-splint wrist support, multi-density padding, an angled grip bar and an ultra-soft, temperature-regulating lining. Hayabusa calls the glove best for intermediate or advanced users. Treat that as the manufacturer's intended audience—not a guarantee about fit or proof that other skill levels are excluded.

The page does not list a microfiber thumb for this leather model. That is an evidence gap, not proof that the glove lacks one; do not assume a feature from the standard T360, T3 or another sibling model. Similarly, marketing descriptions about positioning, comfort, leather feel or long-term character should not be read as independently verified outcomes.

Match the weight to the listed use

Hayabusa assigns 12–14 oz to bag and pad work, then identifies 16 oz for bags, pads and sparring. The source does not name partner drills in the leather model's 16 oz recommendation, so this review does not add them. A 14 oz option is not automatically a sparring glove under that page's guidance. The manufacturer's general guide explains that ounces describe glove weight, not hand circumference; wrap thickness, hand shape and the gym's own rules remain separate checks.

For an exact 14 oz bag-and-pad scenario, this model has a listed weight within the manufacturer's stated band. For a 16 oz sparring scenario, its page explicitly includes sparring, but the boxer still needs coach or gym approval. A glove specification cannot establish how well it fits your wrapped hand, how it feels on impact, or whether it meets a particular event's requirements. Where possible, try the selected size with your normal wraps and confirm the session rules first.

How it differs from standard T360 and T3 LX

Standard T360 is listed in 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 oz, uses Vylar engineered leather, and places 10–12 oz in a bag/pad band and 14–18 oz in a group that also names partner drills and sparring. The leather edition narrows the selector to 12–16 oz and publishes its own split: 12–14 oz for bags/pads, 16 oz also for sparring. These bands should not be merged just because the names share T360.

Hayabusa's T3 LX is another distinct comparison: its page identifies full-grain leather and four Fusion splints, while T360 Leather specifies aniline full-grain leather and triple splints. T3 LX's reviewed page did not provide use-by-weight guidance; T360 Leather does. These page-level differences help narrow a shortlist, but they do not rank wrist support, quality or durability. No standardized tests are supplied on these pages.

Tradeoffs and checks

The premium construction comes with fewer listed ounce choices than standard T360, so buyers needing 10 or 18 oz should look elsewhere in the reviewed catalog rather than assuming those options carry over. The product page does not publish internal hand dimensions, a detailed leather-care routine, or comparative impact data. Check the retailer's exact model name, color and weight: a listing for standard T360, T3 LX or another full-grain glove is not the same product. Confirm return terms before ordering, particularly if you cannot assess wrapped-hand fit in person.

On the evidence available, the T360 Leather is most relevant to a buyer who wants the explicitly specified full-grain aniline outer and whose coach-approved session aligns with its listed 12–14 oz bag/pad or 16 oz bag/pad/sparring guidance. Its construction is documented; personal fit and real-world wear are not. Choose it for that specific combination of material and published use, not for an unverified promise of better protection, comfort or longevity.
